Begin Your Journey at Sacred Bloom

Sacred Bloom College of Healing Arts welcomes students called to Sacred Ministry, spiritual leadership and service-centered practice. Our two tuition-free degree programs are MS Sacred Ministry and PhD Sacred Ministry.

Our admissions process is designed to be accessible while maintaining the academic, ethical and community standards expected of Sacred Bloom students. We value scholarship, formation, service, reflection and demonstrated learning. Admission decisions consider the whole applicant and their documented readiness for graduate study.

Both degrees are tuition-free. Tuition is $0.

Enrollment is currently limited to students residing and studying in Florida. The College does not offer out-of-state enrollment or claim SARA participation. Contact Admissions before a change of location.

The Admissions Process

1. Explore Your Program

Begin by reviewing the program that best aligns with your educational and vocational goals: MS Sacred Ministry or PhD Sacred Ministry. Review the curriculum, prerequisites, program expectations and graduation requirements before applying.

Integrative health, healing arts and psychedelic facilitation may be studied within Sacred Ministry where appropriate. They are not separate programs or certificate tracks.

2. Submit Your Application

Complete the online application for admission. Tell us about your educational background, professional or community experience, interests and reasons for pursuing your selected degree.

Your statement should explain your goals and what you hope to contribute to and receive from the Sacred Bloom learning community. There is no expectation that applicants arrive with a fully developed spiritual philosophy. Applicants must demonstrate the academic preparation and ethical readiness required for their degree.

3. Submit Previous Education and Training

Provide the transcripts, writing, references and other materials listed in the degree requirements below. Relevant ministry formation, professional training and service experience may provide additional context but do not automatically replace academic prerequisites.

Unofficial transcripts may be accepted for preliminary review. Official or verifiable academic records are required to establish eligibility before final admission or an award of transfer credit.

4. Transfer Credit and Prior Learning Review

Students with previous college coursework or graduate education may request a transfer-credit review. Sacred Bloom evaluates previous learning for relevance, academic level, documented outcomes and its relationship to the degree requirements. Acceptance is determined individually and is not automatic.

Our goal is for students to demonstrate mastery without unnecessarily repeating equivalent learning. Experience or professional credentials do not automatically count as graduate credit.

5. Admissions Review

Once the application and required materials are received, Admissions reviews eligibility and readiness. An interview is required for both degrees.

The conversation is not a test of whether applicants hold a particular set of beliefs. Sacred Bloom values spiritual pluralism and individual autonomy. It explores academic readiness, ethical responsibility, role boundaries and the ability to engage respectfully with people whose traditions, identities and beliefs differ from one’s own.

6. Receive Your Admissions Decision

  • Accepted: The applicant meets the admission requirements and may proceed with enrollment.
  • Accepted with Conditions: The written decision identifies any outstanding documentation or prerequisite preparation and when it must be completed. Conditions do not waive degree-level readiness.
  • Additional Review Required: Further evidence is needed before a decision can be made.
  • Not Admitted at This Time: The applicant does not currently meet the degree requirements and may be advised about additional preparation.

7. Complete Enrollment and Orientation

Accepted students receive instructions for enrollment, course access, student policies, academic expectations and orientation. Orientation introduces the College’s educational philosophy, academic integrity standards, community expectations, resources and ethical principles.

A degree plan identifies required courses, accepted transfer credits, service or practicum requirements, and capstone or dissertation expectations. Access to an online course does not itself constitute degree admission.

Graduate Admissions

MS Sacred Ministry requirements

  • A completed bachelor’s degree from an institution acceptable to the College. Any request for comparable undergraduate preparation requires documented academic equivalency and an individual written determination before graduate admission; experience alone does not automatically replace a degree.
  • Completed application and official or verifiable academic transcripts.
  • Current CV or résumé.
  • An admissions essay addressing educational purpose, service, ethical responsibility, cultural humility and readiness for graduate scholarship. Writing is evaluated for critical thinking, clarity and academic preparation.
  • Two academic, professional, ministerial or community references.
  • A required admissions interview assessing readiness, role boundaries and understanding of religious education versus professional licensure.
  • Any assigned prerequisite preparation completed under written conditions before progression to the affected graduate work.

PhD Sacred Ministry requirements

  • A completed master’s degree or higher from an institution acceptable to the College in a field relevant to the proposed Sacred Ministry research.
  • Official or verifiable graduate and undergraduate transcripts and a current CV or résumé.
  • A doctoral statement of purpose and a preliminary research-interest statement of approximately 1,500–2,500 words.
  • A graduate-level scholarly writing sample demonstrating sustained argument, source evaluation and academic integrity.
  • Three academic, professional or ministerial references, including evidence of scholarly capacity.
  • A required doctoral admissions interview.
  • Evidence of research-methods preparation, with any assigned leveling work completed before advanced doctoral research courses.

Completion of Sacred Bloom’s MS does not guarantee PhD admission. Master’s coursework does not automatically count as doctoral credit or replace candidacy, original research, dissertation or defense.

Admissions Philosophy

We value scholarship while recognizing formation, service, experience, reflection and demonstrated learning. We welcome students willing to ask difficult questions, examine their assumptions and understand the responsibilities that accompany spiritual leadership.

Students are not expected to adopt a prescribed spiritual worldview. They are expected to respect the dignity and autonomy of others and meet the academic requirements of their program.

Equal Access and Spiritual Pluralism

Sacred Bloom is committed to an educational environment grounded in dignity, respect, spiritual pluralism and freedom of conscience. Students may come from different religious traditions, spiritual practices, philosophical perspectives or no formal religious tradition.

Academic participation does not require surrendering personal beliefs, disclosing personal trauma or using substances. Religious, ceremonial, spiritual and Indigenous traditions are studied respectfully within their historical and cultural contexts. Applicants may discuss access needs with Admissions.

Important Educational Disclosures

Institutional status and educational purpose

Sacred Bloom College of Healing Arts identifies its institutional basis as a Florida religious postsecondary institution operating under the religious-institution exemption framework in section 1005.06(1)(f), Florida Statutes. Exemption from institutional licensure is not the same as a CIE institutional license or accreditation. Request the College’s current exemption confirmation and filed program information before enrollment. This website does not claim recognized institutional accreditation or SARA reciprocity.

Programs and tuition

The College offers only MS Sacred Ministry and PhD Sacred Ministry. Each is a 60-credit religious academic degree, and both are tuition-free: $0 tuition. Integrative health, healing arts and facilitation remain supporting subjects within Sacred Ministry.

Transferability of credits

Transfer credit into Sacred Bloom is evaluated individually for level, equivalence, relevance and documented achievement; it is not automatic. The receiving institution decides whether to accept Sacred Bloom credits or degrees. Acceptance elsewhere is not guaranteed. Prior experience, professional credentials or master’s-level work do not automatically replace graduate degree requirements.

Education and professional licensure

Admission, study and graduation do not confer professional licensure or independently authorize medicine, psychology, psychotherapy, mental-health counseling, nursing, social work or other regulated professional practice. Religious-vocational education does not replace the separate education, examination, supervision or licensure requirements of a professional board. Coursework does not authorize controlled-substance activity or establish a religious exemption for a student’s future practice.

Students should review the degree plan, completion standards, academic-progress rules, delivery arrangements and student policies before enrollment. The College does not promise employment, salary, credit acceptance or professional licensure.
